The Communications Assistant will provide strong support for the communications strategy and team culture initiatives under the Media Platforms and Services’ Screenings team.
He / she will be responsible for reviewing and refining internal and external communications, providing communications templates, coordinating in-person and virtual events, and managing various administrative tasks to support operational functions.
Additional duties may include providing creative support to the operations team and QA support to the product team. A background in technology and on a streaming application is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :
- Draft and edit internal and external communications, including emails, onboarding materials, and newsletters.
- Create templates for operational communications such as announcements and updates.
- Support senior team members with executive and strategic communications.
- Monitor best practices for Slack channel communication.
Cultural Initiatives :
- Plan and execute team events and activities.
- Prepare event materials and follow up post-event.
- Manage communications for cultural initiatives, including birthdays and milestones.
Administrative Support :
Assist with administrative tasks and maintain organized digital files.
Project Management (as needed) :
- Help manage projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and track project progress.
Requirements :
- Two years of experience in communications, administrative, or business support, preferably in tech or streaming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong grammar and punctuation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
