Requirements :Other Details : First to floatFloating : to MB / PP when neededRatios : Unit attempts to follow AWHONN guidelines & ratios and are staffing up to meet the AWHONN standards, but at this time it is not everyday.
But assignments are safe. Nurse to pt ratios are mostly 2 : 1 depending on acuity, AntePartum can be 4 : 1, c-sections 1 : 1Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Laboring or preterm pregnant patients
