As an AI Systems Engineer, you will transform cutting-edge ML capabilities into applications that solve global challenges.
You’ll work closely with your customers to understand their questions and needs, then collaborate with subject matter experts and an elite group of fellow engineers to deliver impactful solutions to the customer.
You’ll identify the right combination of tools and frameworks, develop MLOps pipelines, and deliver robust ML applications that turn complex datasets into objective answers to help our military leaders make informed decisions in operational environments.

You Have :
3+ years of experience with data science, machine learning engineering, data analytics, or data research
Experience with building data science and AI or ML solutions that support enterprise operational business and mission use cases
Experience with projects in computer vision, deep learning, NLP, or generative AI focus
Experience with python programming
Experience with addressing functional, technical and performance requirements and evaluating architectural tradeoffs for data science and AI or ML solutions
Experience with Spark, Databricks or data engineering and data workflows using cloud-native solutions or tools
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud technologies
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have :
Experience with DevOps and automation frameworks, including Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform to streamline the software delivery process in event-sourced applications
Experience making backend models accessible, such as building APIs, to share data and calling APIs within applications or software
Experience with client engagements, client-facing project work, and business development
Experience with Agile methodology, software engineering, and software products
Experience in containerization and container orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes
Knowledge of ML-Ops and ML-Flow
Knowledge of evaluating and applying ML algorithms or models, including natural language processing
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
AWS or Azure associate level cloud certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
