Responsibilities :
Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols for mechanical components and assemblies.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
Perform root cause analysis of mechanical failures and non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with design engineering to ensure that new products and designs meet quality and reliability requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential quality risks and mitigation strategies.
Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years of practical hands-on experience in electromechanical products manufacturing environments.
Experience with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Practical hands-on knowledge with Metrology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in mechanical drawings comprehension, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and Client workspace apps (including Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Non-Essential Skills / Qualifications :
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification.
Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (including Process Capability Index Cpk).
Experience with automated inspection systems and equipment, such as CMM (Coordinate-Measuring Machine) and LIBS (laser induced breakdown spectroscopy).
