Patient Advocacy Manager

Massive Bio is a rapidly growing health-tech startup founded in 2015 to provide every cancer patient with access to clinical trials regardless of their location or financial stability.

Our proprietary patient recruitment and enrollment enablement solution for oncology clinical trials solves every point of friction in traditional clinical trial enrollment.

Privately held and headquartered in NY City, our passionate changemaker team is looking for a Patient Advocacy Manager.

This individual will play a pivotal role in activating and expanding patient advocacy channels to enhance our brand's presence and impact.

The ideal candidate will be innovative, resourceful, and dedicated to advancing patient-centric initiatives. This role requires a high level of energy, efficiency, and commitment to driving results.

This role also requires a candidate who is highly motivated, proactive, and willing to invest the time and effort necessary to succeed.

While previous experience is important, we are ultimately seeking a candidate who demonstrates the drive and determination to excel in this demanding role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Activate and cultivate relationships with patient advocacy groups, organizations, and influencers to amplify our brand's message and initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to engage with a diverse range of patient advocacy channels, both traditional and non-traditional.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, provider engagement teams, and clinical operations, to align advocacy efforts with broader organizational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem to advance patient advocacy goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of advocacy events, campaigns, and initiatives to raise awareness and drive action on important patient issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities in patient advocacy to continuously innovate and optimize our approach.
  • Track and analyze metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of advocacy initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to inform future strategies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, public health, communications).
  • Proven experience in patient advocacy, community engagement, or related fields, with a track record of success in activating advocacy channels.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including patient advocacy organizations, policy issues, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a relentless focus on driving impact and achieving goals.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity with resilience and agility.
