Patient Account Representative
A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative II to manage insurance balance patient claims and support the resolution of unpaid accounts.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess insurance claims and follow up on unresolved patient accountsReview and resolve payer denials, underpayments, and perform appeals as necessaryPost payments and adjustments in the system, and resolve credit balancesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentTwo years of progressively responsible and related work experienceKnowledge of accounts receivable software systems and medical billing operationsFamiliarity with medical reimbursement policies and medical terminologyUnderstanding of the payer landscape, including Medicare and Medicaid
