Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist, Lead is responsible for daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine imaging modality with general oversight from Radiology Advanced Imaging Manager.
This position is responsible for coordinating patient exams and staffing assignments, and serves as a resource for Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
This position leads Quality Assurance tasks and initiatives within the modality to ensure regulatory and hospital requirements are met, including continuous evaluation of departmental processes and exam protocols.

Required Skills Strong technical skills in nuclear medicine technology Strong technical skills in computed tomography Advanced knowledge of all vasculature and organ systems Advanced knowledge of all radiopharmaceuticals Skilled in the use of radioisotopes Strong patient care and assessment techniques Knowledgeable in ALARA, radiation physics, radiation biology, radiation protection and medical terminology.
High degree of accuracy in radioisotope exposure techniques Required Experience State of California DHS License (N) (R) ARRT certification (N) and / or NMTCB certification Two (2) years training in an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology CPR / BLS : American Heart Association Four (4) years’ experience in a hospital setting performing nuclear medicine technology with fusion imaging.
