Schedule : Full-timeShift : DaysLocation : 2525 S DOWNING ST, Denver, 80210The role you’ll contribute : Assist pharmacists in promoting an organized and functional pharmacy service.
Prepares medications for dispensing and maintains records.The value you’ll bring to the team : Alerts pharmacy director, manager, or pharmacist of immediate problems requiring corrective action in a timely manner.
Screens nursing and physician inquiries and phone calls by directing to appropriate pharmacist to ensure accurate and timely communication.
Performs special projects, including the training of new technicians and overseeing their activities, and other activities as assigned to increase and improve level of service, skill level, and productivity.
Attains professional growth by attending or participating in a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education biannually, as required by national certification bodies.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : High school diploma or equivalent.Active Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Colorado (PHAT) and Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)Provisional licenses must obtain State license within 12 months or expiration date of provisional license (whichever comes first)This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
