Technical Staff-System Architect

What you’ll achieve

Participate in the development of next generation large scale AI Infrastructure including accelerated compute, AI fabrics and AI optimized storage.

Engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications and tune the system for maximum performance.

Drive innovation at datacenter level with liquid cooling technologies and power density.

You will :

Technical lead working with customer in in understanding the project details, developing technical proposals, and aligning with internal Dell Engineering and Planning team.

Develop Complete solution from Compute to Device to L12 (customer datacenter) delivery

Develop solution Overview across L10 and L11, validate with Engineering

Propose BOM / SKUs to meet technical requirements based on customer input and review with Engineering & planning.

Validate with Engineering team the customer requirements and BOM defined for the proposal

Essential Requirements

10 + years of experience with product technology and system level integration and engineering methods in a field of specialty

Ability to work with ODMs on mechanical, thermal & electrical aspects of system design.

Ability to interface effectively with suppliers to ensure they are both doing research and providing information on products or services that have value to the company, instigating and coordinating these efforts as necessary on a continual basis

Communication ability through presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to conduct presentations to peers, cross-functional teams and director level of leadership

Understanding of appropriate technologies, vendor products, and competitor's offerings

Desirable Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge in area of system performance work related to AI / ML or HPC along with the ability to write scripts for testing & linux know-how is also a plus

Compensation : Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices. The Salary Range for this role is $216,000.

00 to $323,000.00 base salary
