At StandardAero,as a Propulsion Engineer , you will providecritical technical support to both internal and external customerson turbine engine performance, troubleshooting, productionprocesses, and product failure investigations.

We are open toconsidering candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering,Aerospace Engineering, or Service Center Engineering.

Your rolewill involve using both qualitative and quantitative analysis toidentify opportunities for repair development and processimprovement related to turbine engine overhaul andrepair.

What You WillDo :

• Act as atechnical liaison for best practice sharing and OEMcommunications.
• Prepare detailed workinstructions for operations personnel outside routine Overhaul& Repair procedures.
• Support day-to-dayproduction and provide technical advisement to meet technicalrequirements.
• Provide process-related trainingand analyze methods to enhance production quality andefficiency.
• Offer technical advice, producereports on product serviceability, repair summaries, warranty, andfailure analysis.
• Support the implementationof new processes, specify tools and test equipment, and assist intraining on overhaul and test methods.
• Utilizestatistical analysis for test data trending to maintain productquality and test cell correlation.
• Facilitatecoordination between internal and external Engineering andOperations during new repair and processimplementations.
• Develop new repairs fromengineering data and contribute to repair trials, analyzing anddocumenting results.
• Propose and performcost-benefit analyses for new equipment purchases.
• Stay updated with state-of-the-art technologies andprocesses.
• Support test cell calibration andmaintenance, ensuring correlation with industry standards and OEMrequirements.

BasicQualifications :

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support role forTurbine Engine Maintenance.
• Ability to read,understand, and interpret blueprints.
• Workingknowledge of precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with gas turbine engine theory andperformance analysis.
• Physical ability to walkthroughout the facility, climb, bend, and lift up to 50lbs

PreferredQualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace)from an accredited university.
• Experience withHoneywell propulsion engine and APU products.
• Valid FAA A&P license.
• Strongplanning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal,decision-making, oral, and written communicationskills.
