Frederick Living, part of Garden Spot Communities, is located in Zieglerville, PA (Montgomery County). We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.

Status : Full Time & Part Time

Salary Range : Experience based pay starting at $18 / hr PLUS Shift Differentials including $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights and an additional $1 for Weekends!

As a Med Tech, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities :

• Assist in admissions, transfers, discharges and death procedures
• Maintain residents' records daily, (ie) weights and vital signs, in a timely manner, and in accordance with FMC policy and procedures
• Assist residents with medication as defined by the medication procedure and physicians' orders.
• Assist residents or families who have elected to use other pharmacies.
• Responds promptly and positively to resident request for assistance, including telephone calls, and requests from family and friends, visitors, or other personnel.

What do I need for this role with Frederick Living ?

• High School diploma or GED required
• Preferred experience in caring for the elderly with cognitive impairment
• Must be medication administration certified
• Must have a minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually
