About Terraboost :

Terraboost Media operates a massive place-based media network in most major US supermarket chains, pharmacies (including all Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens), shopping malls, airports, health clubs (LA Fitness), and more.

The place-based billboards dispense sanitizing wipes to consumers, leading to 80%+ consumer engagement. The networks provide tremendous scale, hyper-targeted locations, engaged impressions, and low CPMs.

Terraboost manages a mega network of more than 120,000 wellness billboards (which dispense sanitizing wipes and sanitizer) located within premium retailers such as CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Albertsons, Ahold, LA Fitness, shopping malls, airports and more.

The networks provide tremendous scale, hyper-targeted locations, engaged impressions, and low CPMs, and provide the account executive the opportunity to truly sell with data, to tell compelling stories through email, phone and in-person meetings.

Job Summary :

We are looking for someone to take charge of the technology strategy and make a significant impact on the company's future.

The VP of Technology will have strong business strategy acumen, exceptional website, application and database development skills, and a robust network of global tech talent to build and enhance our applications and data infrastructure.

This role demands a strategic thinker who is ready to roll up their sleeves, particularly in the areas of business strategy and designing smart, optimized tech and data stacks to support our overall business and processes to keep the business running efficiently.

This role will require recent coding experience.

Essential Functions :

  • Strategic Leadership :
  • Lead the planning and execution of technology initiatives to drive business growth and operational efficiency. Be able to translate business goals into technology strategies that will optimize the operation.
  • Provide strategic insights to the executive team on technology trends and opportunities to improve and optimize all areas of the business.
  • Technical Expertise :
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure and business processes that run the business such that all functional areas are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrate mastery in database management, data integrity and cleanliness and report development (knowledge of PowerBI a bonus).
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our technological systems.
  • Team Management :
  • Build and lead a high-performing technology team, either locally or globally to augment in-house capabilities and expand our technological expertise.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Manage overall QA processes to ensure applications launch as error-free as possible.
  • Process Improvement :
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in project management, development methodologies, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor and manage technology budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • In-Person Collaboration :
  • Work closely with the leadership team and other departments in our Indianapolis office.
  • Facilitate in-person meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategic planning workshops.
  • Serve as a technology ambassador within the company and the local community.

Required Skills and Abilities :

10) Years minimum experience in a senior technology leadership role within a technology-driven organization.

  • Experience leading development teams utilizing contractor resources.
  • Strong business strategy and process improvement skills.
  • Expertise in data architecture, data integrity and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis 3 days per week and reside within driving distance.

Minimum Required Education and Work Experience :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within a technology-driven organization.
