Salary : $25-$29hr

Long Island-based General Contractor, working in commercial construction. We are a fast-paced, rewarding and collaborative company and are seeking to add an experienced Construction Billing Administrator to join our team.

Duties :

  • Generate financial reports for senior leadership.
  • Monitor, analyze and manage accounts payable, and accounts receivables.
  • Support Controller in all financial matters of the organization.
  • Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions.
  • Working with staff accountants as needed.
  • Work with subcontractors and project managers, create budget, contracts of construction projects.
  • Update and maintain accurate financial records, contracts, budgets, tax reports and financial statements.
  • Perform extensive data entry to ensure all financial data is input into accounting software.
  • Process invoices and resolve any invoice issues.

Skills :

  • AIA Billing and Contracts experience a strong plus
  • 3 plus years of experience in Bookkeeping
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong decision making / problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, and math skills are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel : 1 year plus
  • Proficient in Quickbooks : 2 years Required
  • Procore / Construction Management Software a plus
