Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

A fantastic school district in Stoneham, MAis seeking a Special Education Teacher to join the team.As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized instruction plans for students with variousdisabilities to support their academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver instruction to students with disabilities in inclusive and resource settings
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on students' needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other service providers to provide appropriate accommodations and modifications
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of students' progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and IEP meetings

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • State licensure or certification in Special Education
  • Experience teaching students with disabilities
  • Knowledge of special education law and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
