Northrop Grumman is looking for a Radio Frequency Engineering Technician 2 / 3 to work in our San Diego, CA location.

Responsibilities :

• Support Radar Cross Section (RCS) and Radio Frequency (RF) testing of test articles and antennas
• Mount and dismount test articles on a test support pylon
• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and / or fabricate test equipment (production and prototype)
• Assist in the verification, development and documentation of test procedures and special applications by interpreting product specifications
• Will work multiple shifts

Basic Qualifications for Radio Frequency Engineering Technician 2 :

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry or related military service
• Will be expected to work in man lift at height of 65 feet
• Current and Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
• Ability to use standard tools and shop equipment.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)

Basic Qualifications for Radio Frequency Engineering Technician 3 :

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 4 years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry or related military service
• Will be expected to work in man lift at height of 65 feet
• Current and Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
• Ability to use standard tools and shop equipment.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)

Preferred Skills / Education :

• Crane operations, rigging and lifting, forklift operation, cable handling, model weight and balance checks
• Network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies and power meters
• Specialized Antenna / RCS data processing software (KNOWBELL, Pioneer, Spectrum 959)

Salary Range : $53,000 - $88,300

Salary Range 2 : $62,900 - $104,900
