Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior PL / SQL Developer with over 10 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database systems.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PL / SQL programming, data modeling, and performance tuning. They will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient database solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Database Design and Development :
- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL / SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Collaborate with application developers to design and optimize database schemas and data models.
- Implement and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and sequences.
- Performance Tuning and Optimization :
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance tuning, query optimization, and database tuning.
- Data Management :
- Design and implement ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration.
- Ensure data integrity and security through comprehensive database management practices.
- Perform data analysis and generate reports as required.
- System Integration and Support :
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate database solutions with applications.
- Provide support for database-related issues, troubleshooting problems as they arise.
- Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and security policies.
- Project Management :
- Lead database-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
- Mentor junior database developers and provide technical guidance and training.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Documentation :
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, processes, and procedures.
- Document database changes and enhancements thoroughly.
