Associate Director, Claims Advocate

This position is Hybrid in our Miami, FL location.

In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to provide world-class customer experience and be a part of the best-in-class client services team in the reinsurance industry.

We are looking for a candidate who is excited to handle claims for our clients providing them unmatched support and advocacy.

What the day will look like :

• 5+ years of experience in the Latin American & Caribbean Claims Market
• Work with team members to strengthen existing relationships with ceding companies.
• Compile data; organize and schedule Client Services meetings.
• Assist in coordinating with Sales teams for RFPs and / or Client Services staff visiting ceding companies, as appropriate.
• Perform special projects and participate in projects, as requested.
• Assist our clients in the notifications and explanations to reinsurers of individually reported claims, complex claims and / or catastrophe claims.
• Assist with complex coverage issues and resolving differences by providing contract interpretation, claim information and potential negotiations.
• Help reinsurers understand claims and claim issues across many lines of business.
• Organize and manage critical claim meetings.
• Attend industry conferences.
• Assist Clients (and client's insureds) with large catastrophe events.

Skills and experience that will lead to success :

• Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Bilingual English & Spanish Language preferred.
• Ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Insurance and / or Reinsurance claims experience preferred.

Education :

Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) from four-year college or equivalent experience.

Pay Transparency Laws :

The salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities.
