Essential Job Responsibilities
Sales Generation
- Meet personal sales, unit-per-transaction and limited edition sales goals
- Utilize the elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance
- Communicates with peers regarding pertinent information on daily, event or
Company focus
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of merchandise on the floor and back stock
- Communicates any missed sales opportunities due to product to Store Manager
- Creates and cultivates loyal following with new customers and existing customers by maintaining records and following up with continual communication using direct and social media platforms
- Comply with all sales related policies and procedures
- Stays keen on fashion industry, market and local trends
Customer Service
Enjoys meeting and interacting with customers; demonstrates an energetic and
positive attitude
- Provide the highest level of customer service
- Build and maintain repeat client relationships; Utilize client book to maintain
important notes
Resolve client issues quickly, effectively and professionally, ensuring client
satisfaction
Operations and Merchandising
- Understands and facilitates the execution of company visual merchandising standards
- Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized and stocked according to
Company guidelines, to ensure customer satisfaction, provide a pleasant and safe
shopping environment and maximize the opportunity for sales
- Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor
- Assist in all areas of stock, transferring, receiving policies and all
transferring / receiving related paperwork.
- Participate in regular inventory processes
- Properly execute all relevant POS procedures
- Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance
- Participate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs and meetings as directed by store management
- Addresses asset protection issues that may occur in a manner that there is neither a loss to the company or an uncontrollable situation with the customer
- Responsible for protecting company assets.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned or developed by management
Desired Skills / Experience :
- Minimum 1 year retail sales experience
- Motivated to drive business by building customer to client relationships
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office software including Work, Excel, PowerPoint
and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills
- Professional demeanour-follows company uniform and appearance guidelines
- Flexibility in schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
