Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting. Partner with operations leadership to analyze production performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports specific to manufacturing activities. Provide financial forecasting and budget support for manufacturing operations. Analyze capital expenditure requests, ROI, and payback for operational projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff assigned to manufacturing support. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated ability to partner with operations leaders to drive financial performance. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Ability to influence and support operational decision-making. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proven track record of building effective cross-functional partnerships.

Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking a Manufacturing Controller to join on their client’s dynamic team! The Manufacturing Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes and improve operational efficiency. The Manufacturing Controller ensures accuracy in cost accounting, production reporting, inventory management, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The Manufacturing Controller serves as a key business partner to plant leadership, providing financial insights that drive efficiency, profitability, and compliance. This position is reporting to the CFO with a dotted line to a General Manager.
