Job Details
- Option for 48H or 36H
- The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
- The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
- The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers / Leaders on an ongoing basis.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS within 12 months of hire
- Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups : Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics.
- Documents thoroughly as care is delivered, following regulatory and hospital requirements.
- Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development of self and others.
- Practices in a clinical environment through application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills
- Ability to work varied shifts and / or days including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, utilize best practices for patient care as expected by department leaders and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to work in a busy, stressful work environment where practice changes to meet new patient safety requirements, goals or objectives.
- Computer skills : Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage workload expectations.
- Interpersonal verbal communication and advanced math skills.
- Creativity, problem analysis, teamwork and decision making.

Ability to work varied shifts and / or days including weekends and holidays
Additional Details
- 100 mile radius rule in effect. The traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility. If they live within 100 miles from the facility, they are not qualified.
