What You'll Do :

• Dive into project blueprints and specifications to meticulously estimate materials, labor, and equipment needs for drywall installations.
• Hit the ground running with on-site evaluations, assessing project scope and identifying potential challenges.
• Team up with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure crystal-clear project requirements and specifications.
• Harness the power of cutting-edge estimating software to generate detailed and spot-on cost estimates.
• Craft comprehensive bid proposals that showcase your expertise, including detailed breakdowns of costs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Stay ahead of the curve with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, ensuring our pricing remains competitive.
• Roll up your sleeves to review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project documents.
• Provide ongoing support to project teams, ironing out inquiries and clarifying specifications like a pro.
• Keep a close eye on project progress and budgets, spotting opportunities to save costs or mitigate overruns.
• Collaborate closely with procurement and supply chain teams to secure materials and subcontractors at the best prices.
• Show your face at pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations, making your mark wherever you go.
• Keep meticulous records of estimates, bids, and project documents for future reference and analysis.

What You'll Bring :

• A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• At least 4 years' experience as a Drywall Estimator, with a sharp focus on drywall installations.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to decipher construction blueprints and technical documents with ease.
• Proficiency in industry-standard construction estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam and PlanSwift.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, making collaboration with teams and clients a breeze.
• A knack for negotiation, ensuring contracts and change orders are in our favor.
• The ability to work autonomously, juggle priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
