Cloud Security Automation Engineer
Responsibilities :
Design and integrate automated security controls into the SDLC, including SAST and SCA tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
Enforce security controls consistently and work to reduce existing security debt.
Assist application teams with cloud security onboarding and troubleshoot integration issues with vendors.
Mitigate security vulnerabilities through automated processes in collaboration with the Application Security team.
Provide guidance on cloud security and automation, ensuring logical security controls are scalable.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices; conduct research, tests, and implement new techniques for the SDLC.
Qualifications :
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven experience in building CI / CD pipelines for both applications and infrastructure with a focus on security.
Expert knowledge of Cloud Native Engineering (GCP preferred); cloud security experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience with securing containers at scale; supply chain protection experience is a plus.
Experience in developing and deploying applications in a containerized environment.
Mastery of automation tools (e.g., Concourse, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible); GitHub Actions is a plus.
Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining automation using Python, Go, or similar languages.
Familiarity with automated, frequent, incremental code testing and deployment as part of mature DevOps practices.
Expert knowledge of both Windows and various Linux operating systems.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
