Summary
As an Astrodynamics Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in mission planning and scheduling upon program award, with a preference for those who have worked within the Space Command and Control (C2) domain.
This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together.

Essential Functions :
- Participate in the development and integration of mission planning and scheduling systems for space operations.
- Conduct software testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and user manuals.
- Modeling and Simulation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements in the Space C2 domain.
- Management of requirements.
- Ability to lead a technical scrum team.
- Travel as needed (a minimum of 10% travel expected).
- Works under general supervision.
Qualifications :
- Clearance : TS / SCI Security Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- Experience with mission planning and scheduling systems
- Experience in software development, testing and validation
- Experience with astrodynamics concepts and applications
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting systems
Preferred Additional Skills :
- Experience in the Space C2 domain
- Experience with Scala, Matlab
- SDA domain experience
- Experience with MBSE techniques to support system design and development
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment through an entire build cycle
- Self-motivated learner / self-starter
