Position Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including trials, hearings, and depositions
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to prepare persuasive legal arguments
- Draft and review various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses to gather evidence and build strong cases
- Provide legal advice and strategies to clients regarding their legal rights and options
Position Essential Job Functions :
- Excellent knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Strong ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective legal strategies
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills for effective argumentation and document preparation
- Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases and deadlines
- Proficient in conducting legal research using various resources and technology
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active California license and in good standing
- 1-5 years of experience in civil litigation
- Proven track record of successful case outcomes
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
