Duties
- Sets up plasma collection equipment
- Performs phlebotomy on new and returning donors
- Monitors the safety and care of donors during the plasma pheresis process.
- Creates a positive donor experience to encourage return donations
- Ensures donor health and safety during donation process
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and annual calibrations on equipment used for plasma collection.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification and experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Computer literate
- Performs work while standing
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
