About The Position
Opportunity Details
Medicus has partnered with a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, with an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in the cardiovascular intensive care unit.
Opening Details :
- Schedule : 7 on / 7 off, 12-13 hour shifts
- Call shifts required
- Cases Seen : Patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, ICU patients, post cardiac surgery - CABG, structural heart, aortic dissections, no transplants
- Procedures Required : Central line / arterial lines / chest tubes, rare intubation, rare thoracentesis
- Patient Ages : Adult, 18+
- Patients per Day : 10-14
- Support Staff : Intesivist, cardiac surgeon on call
- EMR : Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
