Soccer Shots Austin (7X Winner Best of Austin / Best Youth Sports Program : Austin Chronicle) is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Program Director (PD) to help promote Soccer Shots’ mission to positively impact children's lives (ages 2-8) by overseeing day-to-day program management.

Position Overview :

Serving 15,000+ Austin children yearly, the Soccer Shots team strives to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.

The PD is accountable for team development, leadership, daily operations and business development.

Primary Responsibilities :

• LEADERSHIP - The PD is responsible for leading and managing a high functioning team to execute in key areas of program delivery, coach training, partner services and customer service.
• BUSINESS OPERATIONS & PROGRAM QUALITY - The PD is responsible for implementing the company’s high standards for program quality;

improving operational systems, processes and policies; overseeing daily operations to ensure continuous growth and profitability.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - The PD is responsible for developing and expanding new partnerships for Soccer Shots in the greater Austin area, including preschools, daycares, elementary schools, and after school programs.

Required Experience and Education :

• Soccer enthusiast; coaching and / or playing experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS / BA) or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years in a progressive management role.
• 3+ years experience managing and developing programs.
• 3+ years customer management experience.
• CPR / First Aid Certified or willing to get certified within 30 days of hire.
• Pass DFPS and FBI fingerprinting and background check.
• Have own reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
• Mac experience a plus.
• Familiarity with Austin market a plus.

Work Hours :

• This is a full-time, exempt position. Working hours will vary and will include working on Saturday mornings and some weekday evenings.
• This position is required to be available via phone during all weekend sessions and programs.

Physical / Work Environment Requirements :

• Functions in a temperature controlled office environment.
• Work requires ability to sit, stand and walk throughout an extended work day.
• This position requires extensive driving in and around the Austin area.
