Your Role as a Direct Support Professional :

As a Direct Support Professional, you will :

• Provide compassionate and personalized support to individuals with special needs.
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment that encourages growth and social interaction.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
• Assist with personal care, medication management, and daily activities.
• Support individuals with therapeutic strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Accompany individuals to community activities and appointments, promoting engagement and inclusion.

Qualifications :

• A passion for working with individuals with special needs and a desire to make a positive impact.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals and their families.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to varying needs and situations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or training are a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required for some positions.
