Job Description

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A registered nurse with operating room experience is needed for a contract position in Duluth, Georgia. This role requires strong clinical skills in perioperative nursing and the ability to support surgical teams efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities :

Prepare operating rooms and equipment prior to surgery
Assist surgical teams during procedures by managing instruments and supplies
Monitor patient condition throughout the surgical process
Maintain sterile field according to protocols
Document perioperative nursing activities accurately
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

Current and valid RN licensure

Proven experience in operating room nursing

Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and perioperative procedures

Strong critical thinking and munication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
