Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Part Time School-based Contract Position in the Oak Park area of MI starting in August 2024!
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), in collaboration with other members of the IEP team, designs and directs the implementation of Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), which are individualized to each student.
The BCBA identifies individual goals and interventions. The BCBA primarily provides assessment, program design, training, supervision, and monitoring rather than direct therapy or services to students.
The BCBA will participate in building intervention team meetings and may be asked to attend IEPs as needed. Finally, a primary goal of the BCBA is to model and train school-based providers in best practices in FBA / BIP development, implementation, and assessment.
