LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing client in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill an AP Manager position. This is a hybrid position (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) reporting to the Controller at an investment management company focused on the energy sector . The role leads the Accounts Payable (AP) function across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the AP team.
Oversee invoice processing and vendor payments.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Improve AP systems and workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Land, Operations, Treasury, Accounting).
Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment issues.
Handle AP aging reports and month-end close.
Support audits and documentation requests.
Drive automation and digital transformation.
Monitor KPIs and report to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred).
5+ years AP experience, including supervisory background.
Experience in oil & gas or energy sector (highly desirable).
Proficiency in ERP and AP systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
JIB and COPAS experience is a plus.
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
