Job Description

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Fairport, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming face at the location, providing exceptional customer service and communication while monitoring access and assisting guests, staff, and visitors. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors at the front desk while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and / or credentials of employees, guests, and vendors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of security-related activities, incidents, and visitor information as required by the site.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel to support a secure environment.
  • Support Allied Universal management and site leadership by following instructions related to security-related operations at the front desk.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
