Job Summary :
This role is responsible for bending and inserting steel rule to produce a steel rule cutting die according to customer die specifications.
Responsibilities :
- Cutting, bending and notching steel rule based on the manner in wich the die is laid out
- Applying (pounding in) steel rule / knife to the die board
- Read and comprehend customer specifications
- Perform revisions and repairs
- Troubleshooting and resolving any quality issues
- Troubleshooting potential production problems and following up with supervisors for answers
Requirements :
- High school graduate or GED
- Entry level experience in the Die Making / Die Cutting industry'
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1 / 32
- Familiarity with CAD software programs
