CAREER OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team in our Jenks, Oklahoma office, current distribution center build in progress estimated completion Q4-2024 - Q1-2025.
The ideal candidate will oversee and manage the company's overall supply chain for all distribution, as well as the logistics strategy to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business goals in areas such as supplier management, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely product delivery.
- Analyze data to optimize supply chain operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to supply chain management.
REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in management, Business Administration, or equivalent education and work experience; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of Materials Management / Supply Chain leadership experience with a successful track record of driving change and delivering results
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership or management position within a distribution model business / industry required
- Demonstrated project management and continuous improvement experience
- In-depth knowledge of distribution and warehouse functions, work group dynamics, measurement systems (metrics), and continuous proof of improvement techniques
- Experience utilizing and understanding ERP / TMS / WMS systems
- Excellent people management skills, including conflict resolution, coaching, and developing others, promoting teamwork and performance management
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to link business objectives to business activities
- Excellent leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of urgency
- Demonstrated project integration, planning, communication, and documentation skills to oversee and prepare project team resource requirements in collaboration with cross-functional departments
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to build strong, positive rapport with associates in a team environment; ability to lead through personal example that communicates integrity, core values, and consistency in decision-making
- Ability to implement site standards and best practices to include policies, procedures, and workflow development
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple projects / priorities
- Travel required as necessary to support business needs at the distribution / branch level and our Corporate offices
