Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)

StartDate : 10 / 14 / 2024 Available Shifts : 8 D / E / N Pay Rate : $1708.86 - $1968.91

Ultrasonographer Tech needed ASAPSHIFT : DAYS - M-F 8HR SHIFTS CALL SHARED AMONG THE TEAM.REQUIREMENTS : - RVT LICENSE- ARDMS or ARRT- BLS (AHA OR ARC)TRAVELERS SUBMITTED WITHOUT THE NECESSARY INFO OR REQUIREMENTS WILL BE REJECTEDMUST INCLUDE THE HOME ADDRESS & SSN ON THE SUBMISSIONS- TRAVELERS MUST BE GREATER THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITYThe Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and / or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.

Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
