Lifestyle Health Weight Loss and Wellness Center at LHMC is accepting applications for Obesity Medicine physician. Successful candidates should be board-certified or board eligible in IM / FM and Obesity Medicine with added qualifications in weight loss pharmacotherapy and qualified in the evaluation and medical management of patients with obesity and obesity related co-morbidities.

Lifestyle Health Weight Loss and Wellness Center is an integrated department that supports the spectrum of needs for patients seeking help with obesity and weight management.
The Center provides individualized, multidisciplinary consultation and innovative obesity treatment, including state-of-the-art medical and surgical programs.
Patients have access to specialists in obesity medicine, bariatric surgery, psychology, and nutrition at our clinic in Burlington, MA and the world via our telemedicine program.
Each one of our patients is a unique individual, so we create personalized treatment plans for each one. We combine advanced technology, research and medical education to provide the best care possible.
Successful candidates should be board-certified or board eligible in Obesity Medicine with added qualifications in weight loss pharmacotherapy and a strong interest in teaching and / or clinical / translational research.

Minimum Qualifications :
- BC / BE in Internal Medicine, and Internal Medicine sub-specialty, or Family Medicine.
- Expertise in the field of obesity medicine. This field of medicine requires competency in the genetic, biologic, environmental, social, and behavioral factors that contribute to obesity and a thorough understanding of the treatment of obesity.
- Competence with all non-surgical therapeutic interventions including diet, physical activity, behavioral change, and pharmacotherapy, and in providing pre and post-surgical care of metabolic and bariatric surgery patients.
