Job Details
A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced Cath Lab RNs for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience and hold an active ACLS, BLS and AZ license or compact.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Active ACLS certification
- Active BLS certification
- An AZ license or compact
Schedule Information
- 3, 12 hour shifts from 6 am to 6 : 30 pm plus call
- Call - varied 6 to 10 shifts per schedule (30 minute response time required)
- Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
- Shifts : 12 hr shifts, typically 6 am to 6 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday
- Call : 8-12 days a month depending on the month
Unit Specific Information
beds in unit : 3 main, 1 is EP & 1 is Hybrid (vascular & cardiac cases)
- Cases : 10-25 cases per day. Circulating, no Scrub
- EMR used : Cerner and Xper
- Charge Nurse present
- Nurse Aides : Rad techs - Circulating and Scrub, BLS, Certified. Cover Endo and CVOR
- Floor specific orientation : 2 days on job
Additional Details
- LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE preferred; will screen busy LEVEL II
- 30 minute response time required
- Unit : Cath Lab
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement
