Fund Services Senior Associate
Our client is a global investment firm. They build long-term portfolios for their high-net-worth clients. Currently, they are looking to add a Fund Services Senior Associate who will make strategic decisions and an impact within their team.
Salary / Hourly Rate :
$90k $110k plus 15% Bonus and Profit Sharing
Position Overview :
The Fund Services Senior Associate will support the team leaders and help oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the private fund of funds.
This role collaborates with various teams to contribute to the firm’s continued success.
Responsibilities of the Fund Services Senior Associate :
- Oversee key functions and processes for multi-asset class pooled vehicles, including launching new funds annually.
- Coordinate projects for operations projects with a focus on automation and data management.
- Support the client and research teams through the review and approval of accounting reports.
- Oversee and manage third-party relationships with auditors, tax providers, and lawyers.
- Support all pooled vehicle-related communications and interactions with the global firm and third-party providers.
- Review, mentor, and coach the analysts and associates and support the recruiting process.
Qualifications for the Fund Services Senior Associate :
- 3+ years of experience working in private funds with a strong understanding of hedge fund and / or private equity fund operations.
- Working knowledge of various financial products and investment strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort with data analysis and strong technical acumen, specifically in Microsoft Excel. VBA and SQL are a plus.
- Highly motivated and proactive, anticipates what should be done to solve a problem, improve a process, and mitigate risk.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take responsibility for all aspects of a task.
- Team player who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial company.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related area.
