Are you ready to take on a challenging role in the mining industry? We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Production Supervisor to lead our dynamic mining team.

We also need a maintenance Supervisor with the same background. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our mining operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

1. Overseeing daily mining operations and ensuring production targets are met without compromising safety or quality.

2. Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of miners and other staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

3. Implementing and managing production schedules, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.

4. Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

5. Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations, communicating effectively to prevent and resolve any issues.

6. Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

7. Utilizing SAP software for production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.

8. Managing and monitoring performance, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.

9. Participating in change management initiatives, driving the adoption of new methods, technologies, and practices.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Production Supervisor role should have :

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the mining or construction industry.

2. Proven experience in production management, process improvement, and operations management.

3. Proficiency in using SAP or similar ERP systems.

4. Solid understanding of mining materials such as soil, slag, sand, gravel, slate, and stone.

5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.

8. Experience in performance management, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and drive performance improvements.

9. Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards in the mining industry.

10. Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Operations Management, or related field is preferred.
