What You’ll Be Doing

• Assure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents.
• Prepare reports, manage shipping schedules, and perform other administrative tasks.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies.
• Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Lead or Supervisors.
• Answer / route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up of goods.
• Prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.
• Assist in training new associates.
• Assist in maintaining facility security.
• Other assignments as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to operate office equipment.
• Must have at least one year experience in Transportation or Logistics industry
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience with SAP and JD Edwards preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook,
• Good understanding of LTL shipments, Bill of lading, and PO processing.
• Good record keeping and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $20 $22 .

The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills / experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic / office location.
