Job Description :
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites.
QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product
Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify
use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

About the team :
The Client team is looking for high-energy, detail-oriented, and technically-savvy QAT's to perform test execution on Client'
s devices and services.
You will support test execution manually and through automated tools.
You will troubleshoot using debug settings and share bug reports with necessary logs, run automated tests and analyze failures, identify, deep dive and report issues accurately.
Typical Day in the Role :
Typical Tasks :
Testing Applications and Products both manually and using automated tools.
Install and configure software, use debug settings and have technical ability to gather logs, traces, etc. to add to bug reports when provided with instructions.
Run automated scripts, analyze failures, support automation.
Identify issues, deep dive, troubleshoot, communicate to stake holders and escalation of issue and providing status reports
Assist developers or other testers and maintain a high-quality test environment
Candidate Requirements :
Qualifications :
Read and understand electrical schematics
Ability to fabricate fixturing and perform board re-works, based on schematics
Board-level soldering experience
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
1-4 years industry experience testing hardware, including PCBAs.
Experience using standard electrical test / laboratory equipment
Oscilloscopes
Data acquisition devices
Digital multi-meters
Signal generators
Understand and execute documented test procedures
Collect test data, document test artifacts and conditions
Troubleshoot electronic devices under test
Clear written and verbal communication for Test Engineers and external stakeholders
Proficiency working in a Linux / Unix environment is a plus.
Experience with QA process and Hardware Development Life Cycle
