Staff Software Engineer, UI Experience

As a Staff Software Engineer at Ridgeline, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of the UI framework and platforms to build high-quality, complex, FinTech industry defining cloud applications.

Our team of engineers are building a platform to enable a fast-moving, creative, progressive work environment. You'll think outside the box and add your own genius, passion, and interests to the software development life cycle.

The UI Experience team is responsible for laying the underlying foundation for all of the UI built at Ridgeline. By providing cohesive building blocks via a robust design system, we create leverage and enable product engineers to quickly build high quality experiences for our customers.

We partner closely with product teams to ensure we build the right solutions for their needs - with a focus on developer productivity, experience, and maintainability.

8+ years in a software engineering position or similar functionStrong history of architecting and designing new products and technologiesA degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related disciplineStrong expertise in TypeScript, React, HTML, JavaScript, CSSExperience building scalable component library and design systemWillingness to learn about new technologies, while simultaneously developing expertise in a business domain / problem spaceAbility to focus on short-term deliverables, while maintaining a big-picture perspectiveAbility to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and all audiencesSerious interest in having fun at workBonus :

Experience with investment or asset management applicationsExperience building performant, enterprise level web experiences at scaleKnowledge of Node.

Compensation and Benefits

For New York and California Based Only

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $175,000-$215,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
