Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a global supply chain client for a newly created Senior Corporate Accountant.

Responsibilities include :

• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Review and prepare consolidated financial statements
• Help design and implement internal control processes
• Regularly evaluate internal controls for efficiency, identify areas of improvement, and propose enhancements
• Support the annual audit process
• Balance sheet reconciliations and preparing supporting documentation
• Collaborate with various corporate departments, gather and provide necessary information for financial reporting
• Opportunity to work on various special task teams and ad-hoc projects

Interested candidates must have :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• CPA certification or parts passed in highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 or more years of public accounting experience
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, US GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as an effective team member
• Proficient with accounting software and Excel
