Position Overview

Blazer Jobs is hiring a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to serve students in a Pajaro, CA school district for the 20252026 school year. The TVI will provide specialized instruction, support, and resources to help students with visual impairments access the curriculum and achieve their educational goals.

Qualifications

Valid California credential authorizing service as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Experience working with students across multiple grade levels preferred

Strong understanding of assistive technology and adaptive instructional methods

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Key Duties

Provide direct instruction and consultative support for students with visual impairments

Adapt materials and curriculum to meet accessibility needs

Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success

Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments as required

Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
