Our client is currently seeking a Senior Sensor Electronics Engineer

This job will have the following responsibilities :

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
  • 7+ years of experience in the design and development of analog and mixed signal circuitry and systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in design, integration, and / or testing of sensors, preferably inertial sensors and sensor systems.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and printed circuit board layout.
  • Ability to perform circuit simulation using Spice or variants.
  • Experience with system modeling and analysis using MATLAB, Simulink, or other comparable tools.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Expertise in one or more of the following areas :

  • Low-noise electronics
  • Analog-digital conversion
  • Methods of synchronous detection
  • Analog and digital signal processing
  • Phase-locked loops
  • Motor control and drive circuits
  • Microelectronics development experience, including system-level modeling, hardware design, and testing.
  • Experience with component selection and design of electronic hardware for space and / or hostile radiation environments.
  • Familiarity with discrete semiconductor devices such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, BJTs, JFETs, and diodes.
  • Knowledge of design for harsh physical and electromagnetic environments, as embodied in military standards like MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810.
  • Understanding of system grounding / shielding and EMI mitigation techniques.
  • Security Requirement : Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
