Your purpose

  • Deputise in the absence of the Departmental Manager.
  • Ensure our Standard Operating Procedures are followed consistently in order to maintain our standards of guest service.
  • Have complete knowledge of facilities, room rates, promotions and hours of operation across both Houses so that you and the team can positively approach bedroom, room service and F&B outlet sales opportunities.
  • Handle all guest enquiries and special requests to standard.
  • Ensure the atmosphere of the area you are working in compliments the time of day / night (lighting, music, furniture) and maintain its general upkeep / cleanliness.
  • Ensure you and the team positively approach sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue by making informed recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of the menus (including preparation techniques and accompaniments).
  • Ensure all sales transactions follow company procedures.
  • Report any faulty equipment, machinery and service-ware correctly.
  • Ensure the area you are working in is closed and secured at the end of each night shift.
  • Encourage and respond to guest feedback accordingly.

About you

  • Flexibility to work in a guest-facing role, commonly during the evenings when the House comes alive.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service with a flair for hospitality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
  • Impeccable presentation and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a private members club, five-star hotel or similar luxury environment is preferred.
