Under the directive of Physician orders, administering chemotherapy treatments.
Under the supervision of Physician / s and Department Management, delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to GGC policies and procedures.
Effectively interacts with patients, patient's family member / s, Physicians, ancillaries, and clinic-wide staff while maintaining standards of professional nursing within the specialty of Oncology.
Must be willing to provide coverage at outlying GGC Oncology clinic sites.
EMR Documentation.
Assists with patient / family teaching and planning.
Prepare and clean equipment for medical treatments.
Clerical roles included :
Monitoring, cleaning, stocking treatment area and / or exam rooms.
Maintain safe and therapeutic patient care environment.
As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA / OSHA / BLOODBORNE regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.
Other duties as necessary / assigned within scope of practice.
