A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong litigation background who is interested in gaining experience in construction law, as well as opportunities to take a prominent role in litigation matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, 4-7 years of commercial litigation experience, and be admitted to practice law in Texas.
Construction litigation / dispute resolution experience is a plus.

Duties :
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Manage traditional and electronic discovery processes.
- Prepare and assist in trial preparation, including witness interviews and document organization.
- Appear in state and federal courts to argue motions or participate in conferences and other proceedings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 4-7 years of commercial litigation experience.
- Admitted to practice law in Texas.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience drafting pleadings and conducting legal research.
- Comfortable appearing in state and federal courts.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a litigation team.
