Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Valley View Village, a Cassia community , is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team! Staff enjoy a favorable staff-to-resident ratio which allows us to provide exceptional care and build meaningful relationships with residents. Our community qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in Iowa after 120 qualifying payments. Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities :

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary
• Administers medications and / or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness / response.
• Monitor residents and reports any change in their condition.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Monitor performance of CNA staff.
• Use strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.
