Duties :
- Oversee tax-related aspects of corporate and partnership transactions.
- Participate in a variety of transactional activities, including mergers, acquisitions, private equity transactions, and joint ventures.
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed analysis regarding tax implications for transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver strategic tax planning and advisory services.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure timely and accurate guidance.
Requirements :
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in tax law, particularly in corporate and partnership transactions.
- Proven track record in managing complex transactions and developing effective tax strategies.
- Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Education :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic performance, particularly in tax-related courses.
Certifications :
Must be licensed to practice law in CA.
Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while demonstrating independence.
